Rebecca Paz - BECK Designer

BECK DUTCH CARIBBEAN’S TRADEMARK PIECES ARE “SEXY, BEACH-CHIC & FEMININE”

Rebecca Paz, a native of the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, began her career in fashion, studying in Milan and Auburn as well as interning at Carolina Herrera in New York.

Upon moving back to her home island she began merging her experiences abroad with her island as inspiration and at 23 Rebecca founded her jewelry line, BECK Dutch Caribbean.

Today, after 4 years in the industry Rebecca’s clientele has grown from the everyday woman to celebrities alike, providing each with quality, unique pieces soaked in island glamour.

BECK jewels have been spotted on young celebrities such as Gossip Girl’s Katie Cassidy and 90210’s Jessica Lowndes. BECK has also been worn in hit television shows such as, Hart of Dixie (CW), The Gossip Table (VH1) and The Bachelor (Netherlands) as well as been featured in Lucky Magazine, the New York Post, Latina Magazine, Mujer, the Miami Herald, Wellness (Sweden), Kungliga Magasinet (Sweden) and GRAZIA (UK.)

From her 14k gold-filled Swarovski classic BECK earrings came an extensive line of chunky BECKlaces, chains, charms and most recently the wildly popular stacked BECKlettes, all inspired by elements and influences from Rebecca’s life. All of her pieces are designed so that they can be worn alone or layered.

“The feeling I strive to create for my customers is a casual elegance,

one that will allow them to feel part of our effortlessly, chic

lifestyle As soon as she puts on her BECK, I want her to feel special no matter

what she’s wearing or where she’s going...”

Each BECK is handmade in the designer’s ateliers in Curaçao and New York. Although her island is usually the inspiration behind BECK, the newest collections, draw influence from her trips worldwide and balancing life between the Caribbean and New York. The result is a globally minded collection full of stunning pieces that combine yellow and rose gold with edgy Swarovski crystals as well as vibrant semiprecious stones like turquoise, amethyst, white quartz, agate and freshwater pearls.
